Scheme Design
Scheme Design is the stage where the overall mechanical and electrical strategy for the project is developed and agreed. During this stage, we produce outline design information, spatial layouts and preliminary plant and equipment selections to support the architectural design and project objectives.
We work closely with clients, architects, structural engineers and the wider consultant team to coordinate building services within the building form, ensuring that space requirements, plant locations and primary distribution routes are clearly defined. Early collaboration helps to identify constraints and opportunities before the design progresses further.
Key decisions at this stage include system types, energy and sustainability strategies, servicing approaches and high-level plant requirements, with consideration given to cost, programme, buildability and future operation. Initial health and safety considerations are also undertaken in line with CDM requirements, identifying significant design risks so they can be addressed as the design develops.
Technical Design
Our technical design service focuses on delivering fully coordinated, buildable and compliant mechanical and electrical designs.

Certification and In-Use
