Golf Tournament
“Our seventh round was off to another hot and sunny day. The course was finally showing a few signs of some patches of green on the fairways but still very dry conditions. However, another great game for some with two new names in the top six and one just missing out on countback, with Philip Bodie winning the day with 37 points.
So, another shake up to the leaderboard, two new names in the top six, Philip Bodie and Andy Roberts unfortunately knocking Oliver Chambers and Lewis Maskell out (although still a chance of call back). It is still only 34 points needed to get into the top six but there is only one more round to go. Finally, our internal competition was the closest result yet, just one point would have swung it the other way but for the first time this season Ely team has taken the lead at 4 to 3. Ipswich team have everything to do for the next round.
Our next round is on 29th September 2026, so don’t forget to check back a few days after that date to see if you are still in for a shot at the final, or just to see how good or bad others fared. Following this next round we will be announcing the top six players for the final battle.”
