Adrian J Catchpole
With over twenty-five years in the Industry Adrian has design experience on a range of projects including commercial heating, ventilation and air conditioning, general lighting and power, lift installations, fire alarms and emergency lighting, through door entry installations, warden call systems and external lighting schemes from multi million pound commercial developments through to one off domestic heating and re-wiring contracts.

He has knowledge of the current Gas Safety Regulations, IEE Wiring Regulations and other legislation such as the Health and Safety at Work Act, the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations, COSHH and ACoP L8 for the Control of Legionella.

He is an Approved Consultant to The Carbon Trust and advisor in respect of energy audits and surveys, biomass boiler applications, energy efficiency controls, ground source heat pumps, solar power, wind turbines and combined heat and power.

Adrian is registered on the CIBSE Low Carbon Register to provide advice in respect of Part L of the Building Regulations and for conducting Energy Performance Certificates (EPC’s) for non-domestic buildings.


Eric D Benton - Director
B Tech (Hons) C Eng MCIBSE

Eric D Benton
Design experience has been gained by Eric on both the Electrical and Mechanical Services for a wide   range  of  Project types and sizes.  Projects worked on include both new build and refurbishment on single and multi-building sites.  Project types include leisure centres, hospitals, offices,  shopping  centres,  factories, churches, housing (ranging from unique individual dwellings to large multi residential buildings), schools and further educational establishments with engineering values ranging from £2K to 55M.

With thirty-five years experience in the industry as a Senior Building Services Engineer Eric has developed a sound understanding of the technical issues, the processes that drive the industry and the various methods of procurement.

Design Solutions adopted have included CHP, Biomass, Wind Turbines, Solar Thermal, PV cells and Heat pumps (GSHP and ASHP) in addition to conventional solutions using gas, oil and electricity.  

Neil A Rutherford -Director
B Eng (Hons) MIET

Neil A Rutherford
With over twenty-five years experience in the industry Neil has a wide engineering experience gained in client liaison, formulating budget costs, design, specification and supervision (including financial control) on various projects.

He has extensive knowledge in the construction of primary schools, nurseries and libraries together with refurbishments and extensions to schools, homes for the elderly, fire and police stations, commercial and industrial schemes.

Neil has also gained experience in managing lift and fire alarm/emergency lighting service contracts together with test and inspection programmes.

Competent in using ACAD 24 2007, Hevacomp and Microsoft Office.

Neil has become a Certified Competent Person for Building CO2 emissions rate calculations using accredited Hevacomp Software.
