As Chartered Building Services Engineers committed to the conservation of fuel and power, JSH Energy Solutions are keen promoters of renewable energy technologies, providing robust advice on the appropriate use of renewable energy for your project.
JSH Energy Solutions can offer advice and expertise in the following energy saving technologies:- Solar Thermal Hot Water Systems
- Biomass Boiler Plant
- Heat Recovery Ventilation
- Combined Heat and Power (CHP)
- Solar Power via Photovoltaics (PV)
- Ground/Air/Water Source Heat Pumps
- Rainwater Collection and Harvesting
- Wind Turbines
The Practice also encourages passive techniques to both reduce heat loss and solar gain, and where possible to maximise the contribution of ventilation by natural means including passive stack principles. The Practice is keen to promote waste minimisation and recycling where possible particularly with respect to water usage.
The philosophy of the Practice is to encourage a high standard of design, which commences with the necessary level of input at an early stage in the design process and develops through an interactive and iterative process as the design progresses. In addition to conventional steady state computer analysis, the Practice is also able to undertake dynamic modelling and simulation via computer-based software.
Sustainable solutions often have operational or management implications and it is therefore considered essential that the client and end user are involved in these decision making processes.
JSH Energy Solutions are Chartered Building Services Engineers registered with the Engineering Council and are able to offer a range of supplementary Mechanical and Electrical Design Services through it’s sister company Johns Slater and Haward.
