Pentland Golf Limited operates 4 Golf Club and Centres throughout the county of Kent. These are situated at Etchinghill Folkestone, Boughton Faversham, Austin Lodge Eynsford and The Ridge Golf Club at East Sutton.

The Etchinghill site also houses the group's head office.

The Etchinghill site contains a club house, offices, and the greenkeepers shed,  as well as the course  itself and the driving range. The main building is the club house and offices which is a brick building which was constructed 12-15 years ago. Heating on-site was primarily provided by gas fired central heating. Lighting throughout the club house area was primarily provided by spot lighting, whereas office lighting was provided by fluorescents. Air conditioning to the office area was provided by wall mounted stand alone units.

The two clubhouses at Etchinghill and Boughton were similar sizes, one being 850 square metres, and the other being 844 square metres, respectively.

Total floor area of 1,694 square metres.

In April 2008 JSH Energy Solutions conducted Initial Opportunities Assessments at two of the clubs, Etchinghill in Folkestone, and Boughton in Faversham, and identified 8No no cost/low cost Recommendations of energy saving opportunities, with payback periods from immediately to a maximum of 5 years, for the Company to implement in order to save both carbon dioxide emissions and money. If all of the Recommendations were implemented savings of approximately 28% reduction in energy consumption and approximately 36% reduction in the Company’s carbon footprint would be achieved.
