A project to remodel and refurbish an existing building to form twenty-four residential apartments

On behalf of our clients MCB Ltd, Johns Slater and Haward provided an independent review and check on the installations prior to completion of the project.  We also provided a final check on all the Mechanical and Electrical installations.

Nightingale Care Home is a registered social housing provider operating in Norfolk and the surrounding areas.

A new purpose built development was constructed on a site in Cawston, which comprised of 38 bedrooms and leisure areas.

Johns Slater and Haward was commissioned to detail the Mechanical and Electrical Services of the project.

The design solution included a heating system comprising of Air Source Heat Pump technology and an LPG boiler as run and standby generators. The heat from the system was emitted around the building using under floor heating from a number of manifold positions around the building, complete with individual zone control.
