Martello Tower is a grade II listed building, a Scheduled Ancient Monument, and also appears on the English Heritage Buildings at Risk Register. The proposals for the tower were to repair and restore it to make it publicly accessible, with the installation of a watch tower for the National Coastwatch Institution on the roof platform. |
